As a part of another project @ www.hoops-library.com I recently completed a video analysis of the Triangle offense. Looking at how it evolved through the years. Here is a video from the page. To see more check out the link below.

As I’m preparing for the preseason I was doing alot of thinking not only about ideas on offense and defense that I want our team to execute but also the mentality that I hope that our guys play with. Our goal for the upcoming season is to “subir” or move up to the next category, to accomplish this we will need to win alot of games. So this year as a team we have a very clear objective or finish line. But before I jump into that full on I had an idea that I think is necessary for me to understand as a coach that even though I will be fully implicated in the current season, to have the presence to understand that it is not a sprint. I want to succeed but that will come by focusing on improvement, constantly. Building, executing and evaluating. The following quote came to my mind as I looked at my favorite t-shirt with the quote “there is no finish line”:
If you cross a finish line then we are not running in the same race.

I love the process of trying to get better.
